I put 8 gallons of a gas in my car about a week ago... one day after the price rose from 2.79 to 2.97 At first, I thought it was a mistake.... numbers simply inverted. It was not mistake. And so I gambled, thinking the price would go down and I'd fill my car then. The price went up and now I'm out of gas. Or darn close. I could break down and spend an unprecedented $3.04 a gallon on gas-- after all, it's only supposed to go up--or I could park the car and rebel.
I've always been a bit rebellious.
So, the car is parked and the bus pass purchased. I am boycotting buying gas until the price drops below $3.00. Let's see who caves first.
