Wow. I just discovered this site where a woman named Nadine Jarvis claims to make pencils from the carbon of human cremains. 240 pencils can be made from an average body of ash. This may be the ultimate in recycling. Yet, for the artist or the writer, perhaps this might be just the thing. Remember when Phoebe, from Friends, thought her mom was that little golf pencil? Hmmmm....
