Last Thursday, following a teacher idea share at the Green Mill on the topic of "Motivating Kids to Read," I attended an art show at the local museum with Marci, Dave and crew. The event was nicely done. I indulged in a glass of chardonnay and passed on the nibbles. There was live music and a variety of local artists on hand to show their work and possibly sell some pieces, as well. In this pic the kids are admiring the donations display that, true to the artistic theme, serves to recognize its beneficiaries in clever and lovely ways.
